Overview and Methods
The lab includes hepa-filtered air, an ultra-pure millipore-filtered water filtration/supply system (18 MΩ cm2/cm), new sub-boiling acid stills, and metal-free laminar flow boxes for housing ion exchange columns. A separate laboratory equipped with a fumehood and laminar air flow hood is used for development of chemical separation techniques and for sample preparation.
The clean-room facilities are currently under major rennovation and should be completed by November 2017.
