Our new paper on the deep structure of the Antarctic continent is out!
We mapped seismic velocities and anisotropy with higher-mode surface waves and found evidence of layering within the craton based on the seismic fast direction. We also found a signature of the divide between the old craton to the East and the more tectonically active western part of the continent at depth in both seismic velocities and anisotropy.
