- Nursing spouse for several months after a nearly-fatal illness that hit in July 2012. Work involved: managing child as single parent for several months; visiting spouse daily while spouse was in a coma for 3.5 weeks and then relearning to walk for 4 weeks in rehab; driving spouse to multiple doctors appointment every week; helping spouse to take steps; managing entire household (cooking, cleaning, childcare, groceries, etc) and spouse’s medications for the first few months.
