During my undergraduate studies, I focused on the formation of pyrite through multiple sulfur isotope analysis and the interplay between iron and sulfur diagenesis. For my PhD, I have employed methane clumped isotopes to study the anaerobic oxidation of methane and methanogenesis. My goal is to deepen our understanding of the relationship between microbial methane metabolism and the energy landscape in natural environments. Additionally, I have explored methane dynamics in coastal wetlands and marine methane seeps through radiotracer incubations and emission measurements.
