The GALE Lab has created over 1300 DEMs from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uahirise.org\/\">HiRISE<\/a> images at a point spacing of 1 meter-per-pixel, and even more from <a href=\"https:\/\/mars.nasa.gov\/mro\/mission\/instruments\/ctx\/\">CTX<\/a> images at a point spacing of ~6 meters-per-pixel. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text is-stacked-on-mobile\"><figure class=\"wp-block-media-text__media\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"973\" height=\"1024\" src=\"http:\/\/faculty.epss.ucla.edu\/~mday\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/Fig-x-DEM-Examples-01-973x1024.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-641 size-full\" srcset=\"https:\/\/faculty.epss.ucla.edu\/~mday\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/Fig-x-DEM-Examples-01-973x1024.png 973w, https:\/\/faculty.epss.ucla.edu\/~mday\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/Fig-x-DEM-Examples-01-285x300.png 285w, https:\/\/faculty.epss.ucla.edu\/~mday\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/Fig-x-DEM-Examples-01-768x808.png 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 973px) 100vw, 973px\" \/><\/figure><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<p><em>Digital elevation models created by the GALE Lab from high resolution imaging of Mars. Finished products are hosted on the NASA PDS and are available for download here: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/astrogeology.usgs.gov\/search\/map\/mars_human_exploration_zone_dem_archive_2023\">https:\/\/astrogeology.usgs.gov\/search\/map\/mars_human_exploration_zone_dem_archive_2023<\/a> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additional documentation, including a shapefile of the generated DEM coverage, guidance on how to use the filed, and a discussion of sources of error, is available here:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/GALE-Lab\/Mars_DEMs\">https:\/\/github.com\/GALE-Lab\/Mars_DEMs<\/a>  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>New DEMs are being made all the time in the GALE lab, and we will happily take requests for new products.
