The landing went smoothly, everything went according to plan, and we got a first picture of the ground soon after the landing. The solar panels were deployed a few hours later and a new picture taken from the lander was made public. Now some of the team members will be doing a checkup of InSight before examining the surroundings to find a place to hammer the heat probe and to place the seismometer.
