We produce data-driven images of the internal structure of Earth and other planetary bodies to improve our understanding of the physical processes inside them.<\/p>\n<p>My group works on a variety of subjects such as mapping Earth&#8217;s lithosphere-asthenosphere boundary (LAB) in oceanic and continental regions, modeling the thermal nature of the oceanic LAB, detecting seismic anisotropy near subduction zones, and in the deep upper mantle.
